The Green Hour in the sommer semester 2026

We are pleased to invite you to our sixth Green Hour lecture series! The Green Hour is a by now well-established series of brown bag lunch sessions featuring current research in the Environmental Humanities. It takes place at the Environmental Science Centre (Wissenschaftszentrum Umwelt, WZU) at the University of Augsburg. Invited guests are scholars from the University of Augsburg, including international guests from the humanities and social sciences who are working on environmental topics. We also invite speakers from our partner institution, the Rachel-Carson-Center (LMU) and other scholars from our network, including from the IDK “Re-Thinking Environment.” The one-hour event takes place on seven Thursdays during the semester and is open to the public.

You are welcome to bring a small lunch with you
Coffee, tea, and water will be provided for.
