IDK Neujahrsfeier

Instead of squeezing in an end-of-the-year get-together in the usual pre-Christmas hassle we shifted the event to early January 2025 which made it more to an ‘afterparty.’ It was a great opportunity for PhD students to celebrate with WZU staff.

The fantastic food that all brought to the table and drinks (including a winterly “Punch” with cinammon and cloves) translated into a good atmosphere and lively conversations. Not only did we play music from a joint playlist but Christian and Nicholas also brought their instruments and made us sing. Everyone was invited to state their wishes for 2025 on a clothes line, which sparked fun contrasts like: ‘a job’ and ‘crossing the alps by foot’.
