Oberseminar

The IDK Oberseminar is a two-semester series of lectures and discussions on concepts, theories, and modes of inquiry on ‘ecological transformation’ from multi-disciplinary perspectives. In the first semester (Fall 2021/2022), members of the IDK will offer their reflections on the transformation of established disciplines and knowledge cultures in the face of the current ecological crisis and the rise of the environmental humanities. In the second semester (Spring 2022), members of the IDK will focus in their inputs on ecological transformation as such and how it is conceptualized and used in the context of their research and practice. Both foci are in line with the IDKs core topics one (ecological transformation of disciplines and knowledge cultures), two (transformation as a topic in environmental research), and three (ecological knowledge and transformative practice).
