Review: Green Hour: “Displacement, Environmental Citizenship, and Literary Form” (Prof. Dr. Katja Sarkowsky)

Prof. Dr. Katja Sarkowsky’s presentation on environmental displacement focused on First Nations literature and self-writing. It brought together different understandings of “belonging” with environmental issues that either drive people from their homes, or force them to live with environmental disaster. The talk attracted scholars from Augsburg University and from abroad, and sparked a lively discussion across disciplines.
