History of Technology
Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Munich
I have a longstanding interest in the Anthropocene both as a challenge and an opportunity to rethink the theoretical, conceptual, and analytical foundations of history, its narratives and temporalities. Besides, I’m conducting research on the history of European integration (and disintegration) in the long twentieth century as a process shaped by the circulation of knowledge and expertise; on competition and collaboration in the sciences; on digital history and research data infrastructures; and on national research and innovation systems in international comparison.
During the second round of the program (fall 2025-fall 2029), I will be available as second or third supervisor only.
