I am currently finishing my Bachelor in the field of Cultural History and Philosophy, where I learned to analyze how to scientifically deal with “culture” in the sense of all that is man-made. Interdisciplinarity has been a key factor in my studies since history itself is more complex than just politics or social dynamics. The premise is that culture can be systematically approached, just like what happens in the natural sciences.
In my papers, I dealt with “wilderness” as a cultural construct and I am currently asking myself, in my bachelors thesis, if it is possible to better grasp the concept of wilderness as a natural phenomenon from a humanitarian perspective. To do so I am looking at Anglo-American Wilderness Cults in the early 20th century.
In August 2024 I was invited to support the International Doctoral College (IDK) as a program assistant and happily obliged.
