Oliver Schlaudt

Oliver Schlaudt teaches philosophy and political economy at the Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung (School of Societal Design and Transformation) in Koblenz, Germany. His work focuses on socially relevant and dominant forms of rationality—especially technological and economic rationality—and their failure in the ecological crisis. His most recent books deal with technology, money, and waste. He is currently working on a textbook on ecological economics, which draws in particular on perspectives from Earth system science and cultural evolution.
