Environmental Anthropology
University of Aberdeen, LMU Munich

I am an environmental anthropologist researching wetland conservation, Anthropocene landscapes, and urban ecologies at the intersection of social anthropology, history of science, and the environmental humanities. I have conducted fieldwork primarily in Italy, studying conservation conflicts in protected wetlands, as much as the social and environmental history of wetlands and land reclamation. I am currently a Landhaus Fellow at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society.
