On July 20th, our group of PhD students and lecturers took a one-day trip to the serene landscape of Kloster Andechs in the region of Ammersee. Embarking on this guided tour via train, the journey unraveled in shared exploration and intellectual exchange, set against the backdrop of this historic Bavarian gem. After delving into to the history of Kloster Andechs as narrated by Prof. Dr. Marita Krauss, our excursion concluded with a visit to a traditional Biergarten, where our international guests immersed themselves in classic Bavarian cuisine.
